Rumour has it, Mark dreamed of being an accountant from day one, his first toy was an abacus, and honestly, it’s been spreadsheets ever since.
He’s been in the accounting world since 2007, became Chartered in 2014, and went on to found Cloud Concepts Accounting in 2018 with one simple mission: to prove that accountancy doesn’t have to be boring, and that great service should always come first.
Mark genuinely sees accounting as a customer service role with numbers attached, and that philosophy runs through everything Cloud Concepts does.
When he’s not working (which isn’t often), Mark can be found at the Amex cheering on Brighton, spending time with his young family, or planning his next food-filled adventure somewhere sunny.
Becky is Mark’s right hand-(wo)man and joined the team after five years working in Production Management for the Television Industry including on a BAFTA award-winning documentary, where she earned not one but two shout-outs in the Director’s acceptance speech!
After making the leap into accounting, Becky successfully completed her ACCA qualification in October 2025, becoming a fully qualified Chartered Accountant.
A natural people person, Becky loves a good chat with just about anyone, especially if it’s in a sunny pub garden. And with her recent upgrade to an Audi Q2, she’s now one step closer to her dream car: the iconic Audi R8.
Katie brings over 15 years of admin and customer service experience to the team, making her perfectly suited to her Bookkeeper and Payroll Adviser role. With her children now a little older, she’s embracing a new career path and is currently studying AAT Level 3 to further develop her accounting skills.
When she’s not supporting clients or studying, Katie can usually be found crafting handmade toys for her award-winning small business. She’s also a keen reader and passionate football fan, even if her Portsmouth allegiance raises a few eyebrows in the office!
Ruby joined us with a wealth of customer service experience (spot the theme here?). Rather than heading off to university, and saving herself a cool £50k in the process, she chose to pursue a professional qualification. She’s now AAT Level 3 qualified and currently working through her final Level 4 studies.
When she’s not studying or keeping clients happy, Ruby loves long walks, catching up with friends and family, and jetting off somewhere warm and sunny whenever she gets the chance.
Hermione is currently studying her ACCA qualification and spent over three years living and working in South Korea—so she’s got plenty of stories (and can probably navigate a street market blindfolded). She also has a strong background in customer service, keeping the theme going.
When she’s not number-crunching, Hermione loves hunting down new foods, exploring new places, and hanging out with friends and family. Adventure (and snacks) are always on the agenda!
